Copper gardening tools have a much longer lifespan than those made of iron. They are sharp and hardwearing and will last for years. They stay free of rust, but age with a graceful bronze patina.
In 1996, Kupferspuren began producing copper tools by hand. The material is cold-worked to gain the necessary hardness. The tools pass through seven steps during production: cutting, beating, soldering, welding, sanding, polishing and fitting of the handles. An artisan turner makes the handles from European ash, beech or lime.
